What’s next in the world of Drones?

Have you noticed drones in the skies around your neighbourhood lately?
Have you ever wondered about the legal or ethical use of drone technology?
Or are you just curious about what the buzz is all about?

In conjunction with the World of Drones Congress, Queensland Museum will host a discussion about current drone technology and what the future may hold. The panel hosted by Shelley Dunlop, Manager, Inspiring Australia will also discuss how drone movements are modelled on bee behaviour and the ethics and legalities of drone use.

Panel participants include:

  • Andra Keay: Director, Silicon Valley Robotics, San Fransisco
  • Lemm Ex: Principal Privacy Officer, Office of the Information Commissioner (Queensland)
  • Mandyam Srinivasan: Professor of Visual and Sensory Neuroscience and Electrical Engineering, Queensland Brain Institute
