The Queensland Museum is governed by the Board of the Queensland Museum appointed under the Queensland Museum Act 1970.
The Executive Management Team is responsible for leading the state-wide operations of the Queensland Museum.
Advisory Committees provide leadership and guidance for the future direction of the Queensland Museum and report to the Queensland Museum Board.

Our staff are experts in diverse fields covering a broad spectrum of Queensland's natural and cultural history. From entomologists, palaeontologists and marine biologists to archaeologists, educators and visitor services officers.
